Made for an exhibition in an abandoned building that would soon be undergoing a retrofit project, the installation aimed to reflect on the basic concept of a building being a overlapping of horizontal surfaces. It also played with the idea of creating more surfaces in between the existing ones, but in a opposite way of how architecture is structured: instead of rising from the ground up like the other horizontal surfaces of a building, they would be going in the opposite direction, from ceiling to floor.
Materials: Cement, galvanized steel mesh, threaded rod, steel cable e brass wire
